Hello!

I’m Makenzie a person in long term recovery, coming up I had a great life I played football and baseball and other sports all the way through school I started experimenting with substances when I was about 10-11 years old smoking with my buddies and hanging out once I started I never stopped I eventually got a full ride to a shorter university where I played football for a year but my SUD had a hold on me on top of all the legal troubles I was going through so I ended up quitting running to the streets, I continued to feed my SUD until I hit my bottom where I finally gave in a surrendered my will and my life to GOD and found Forge since then I’ve had many accomplishments and have met so many great people trying to work towards the same goal which is maintaining sobriety. I love life today , I love my family and friends, I love my job, and I give all thanks to my higher power JESUS CHRIST
